What you can watch
Irish TV, the UK and the rest of the world.
Instead of a base pack plus paid add-ons, every plan includes every category. The channel list updates itself in your app.
Irish TV
Every Irish channel
RTÉ One, RTÉ2, Virgin Media One, TG4 and the rest of the Irish line-up, with the TV guide filled in – the same channels you get from a Saorview aerial, on every screen in the house.
UK & international
The UK and 80+ countries
The main UK entertainment and news channels sit alongside international programming from across Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia – handy for households with roots abroad.
On demand
66,000+ films and series
A library of films and box sets that grows every week, ready to watch whenever you like – no separate streaming subscription needed.
Hungarian households in Ireland can watch M1, RTL and TV2 as part of the international channels. For Hungarian-language setup help, see hungary-iptv.com and its guide to watching Hungarian TV abroad.
Sport
GAA, Premier League and rugby – no add-on pack.
In Ireland, sports rights are split across several broadcasters and apps, so following your county and your club usually means paying for more than one subscription. Here sport is in every plan.
GAA
Football and hurling championship, league and big club games – from the provincial rounds to Croke Park in July.
Football
Premier League, Champions League, the League of Ireland and Europe’s top leagues, live in HD.
Rugby & more
Six Nations, URC and European rugby, plus racing, golf, boxing and Formula 1.

The basics
How does IPTV work in Ireland?
IPTV means Internet Protocol Television: the picture reaches you as data over your broadband instead of through an aerial, a dish or a cable box.
The technology is already everywhere in Ireland: the TV services from Sky, Virgin Media and Eir all stream over the internet today. The difference is the package. Those services come tied to a broadband contract, a rented box and a minimum term. An independent IPTV subscription like ours works with any broadband provider – fibre, cable, 5G or rural fixed wireless – on devices you already have.
What you get when you order
Your login arrives by email in two formats: an Xtream Codes login (server address, username and password) and an M3U link. Enter the Xtream login in IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate and the app loads the channel list, TV guide and on-demand library for you, sorted by country and category. The M3U link – the playlist – works in players such as VLC.
The channel list looks after itself
There is no playlist to download, edit or refresh. New channels, renamed channels and new films appear in your app automatically. Build a favourites list on each device so everyone in the house has their own line-up.

Costs
What does IPTV cost in Ireland?
The subscription is only part of the bill. Here is everything you pay in the first year – including the costs that don’t come from us.
| Item | Cost | Note |
|---|---|---|
| IPTV 12-month plan | €49.99 | €4.17 a month, every channel and sport |
| Device | €0–80 | €0 with a Smart TV; otherwise a Fire TV Stick 4K |
| Box rental, installation | €0 | no box, no engineer visit, no set-up fee |
| Sports pack | €0 | included in the plan |
| TV licence | €160 | due for any household with a TV set, however you watch |
With traditional pay-TV, the base price often comes with a box fee, an installation charge, separate sports and cinema packs and a 12- or 18-month minimum term. The TV licence applies either way: if there is a television set in the house you need one, whether you watch through an aerial, satellite, cable or IPTV. It is not part of any subscription.
Our prices are in euro, so there is no currency conversion. Nothing renews automatically. Every term and screen combination is on the pricing page.
Devices
Do you need an IPTV box?
Usually not. Most TVs from the last few years can run IPTV directly. A box or stick only makes sense for an older TV, or if you want the snappiest setup.
| Device | Approx. price | App | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Samsung or LG Smart TV | already owned | IPTV Smarters Pro, Flix IPTV | TVs from around 2018 on – no extra cost |
| Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K | €50–80 | IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate | The best choice for an older TV |
| Android TV box | €80–200 | TiviMate | Big line-ups, recording, the fastest menus |
| MAG box | €100–150 | Portal login | A classic set-top box with its own remote |
| Phone, tablet, computer | already owned | IPTV Smarters Pro, VLC | On the move, on holiday, in the kitchen |
A Fire TV Stick is available from any Irish electronics shop or online. Pay less attention to the box than to the connection: a device plugged into the router with a network cable streams more reliably than the best box on crowded Wi-Fi. For a Fire TV Stick, an Ethernet adapter costs about €20 and fixes most buffering.
Before you buy anything, test with the device you already have – the free trial shows quickly whether it is enough. Set-up for every device is in the setup guide.

Questions
IPTV in Ireland: your questions answered.
What is the best IPTV service in Ireland?
The best IPTV service for you is the one that works on your own TV, at your busiest viewing time, without locking you in. Look for a free trial without card details, no auto-renewal, a written money-back guarantee, clear prices and reachable support. We offer all five: a free 4-hour trial, one-off payments, a 24-hour money-back guarantee and plans from €4.17 a month.
How much does IPTV cost in Ireland?
Our plans start at €10.99 for one month. The 12-month plan costs €49.99, which works out at €4.17 a month. There is no contract, no set-up fee and nothing renews automatically. Prices are in euro, so there is no currency conversion.
Is there a free IPTV trial in Ireland?
Yes. You can try the full service free for 4 hours without giving any payment details. Test it on your TV in the evening, when networks are busiest, and check the channels you care about before you pay anything.
Do I still need a TV licence?
If you have a television set at home, the TV licence (currently €160 a year) applies whether you watch through an aerial, satellite, cable or IPTV. It is paid to An Post and is separate from any TV subscription, including ours.
Can I watch GAA, Premier League and rugby?
Yes, sport is included in every plan with no add-on pack: GAA football and hurling, Premier League and European football, rugby, racing and more, live in HD and in 4K where available.
Do I need an IPTV box?
Usually not. Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Android TVs and phones run the app directly. For an older TV, an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K for around €50–80 is all you need.
Does it work with IPTV Smarters and M3U playlists?
Yes. You receive an Xtream Codes login (server, username and password) and an M3U link. Use the Xtream login in IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate so the app loads channels, TV guide and on-demand library automatically, or the M3U link in players such as VLC.
What broadband speed do I need?
About 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps or more for 4K. Most Irish fibre and cable connections are well above that; Wi-Fi is the more common bottleneck, so connect the main TV with a cable if you can.
How do I pay?
By debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cryptocurrency or gift card. Your login details arrive by email after you order.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes: 24 hours from activation on all standard plans and 30 days on lifetime plans. If you are not happy, contact support and you get your money back.
